Windows utilities

Tools I use for a better experience on Windows:

  • PowerToys for a bunch of improvements, specifically:
    • Awake to stop the computer from sleeping
    • Color Picker to find the colour codes for anything on the screen
    • FancyZones for easily managing the layout of my desktop
    • Plus lots more that I don’t use yet
  • PureText to strip all formatting from text on the Windows Clipboard with a single click
  • SnagIt for taking screenshots and quick, simple image editing
  • TextExpander for expanding text from short snippets
  • TextPad for text file editing
