10×10

10x10Found this innovative new site on MetaFilter today. Basically, every hour an algorithm checks a number of RSS news feeds and creates a list of the “hour’s most important words”. Images from the news source sites are used to represent the words and are put into a 10×10 clickable matrix. You’ll need Flash to use the site, but it’s worth it.

  1. I like this. It’s an interesting way to read the news. This can paint a very grim picture though, then there’s a lot of reports of conflict.
