@jean Respectfully, I disagree. Things start off well, but even with 50% left it becomes an almighty faff, until it ends up in a bizarre and frustrating empty/not empty state.
@adoran2 I like the convenience to start with, dislike the struggle of getting it out of the container after it stops squirting. I’ve even cut plastic bottles in half with a knife to get at the residual mayo (of which there is a lot).
@adoran2@jean Gotta side with Andrew on this one. 😉 Apart from shaking the bottle hard enough to give yourself a hernia, you’re never getting all that mayonnaise out.
@tinyroofnail A dispenser like a toothpaste tube would give you the squeezy convenience without forcing you to throw away half the mayo or go mad trying to get it out.
@adoran2 Never, because it’s awesome.

@adoran2 That sounds horrible! There will always be jars of it. For those who want the extra work of using a utensil. 😉

@jean Squeeze bottle is only less work if you’re content to leave a lot of mayo in the bottle.

@JMaxB @jean Or, to spend the rest of eternity slowly “toothpasting” it out in infinitely divisible gobs 🤓
@tinyroofnail With every forceful squeeze resulting in a paintball-like spatter close to, but not directly on, where you aimed it.
@adoran2 Totally agree and I’ll raise you the “hippy answer” that an even bigger issue is it’s made out of plastic that never gets recycled. ✌🏻☮️🕊️

@JMaxB I think you’re right! Somebody get Unilever on the phone.
@adoran2 🤣🤣🤣
@adoran2 @jmaxb Thesis – antithesis – synthesis FTW.
